The Maine Central was created in 1862 through the merger of the Androscoggin and Kennebec Railroad and the Penobscot and Kennebec Railroad, resulting in a line from Danville (now Auburn) to Bangor. On November 1, 2003, the Morristown and Erie Railway took over the former Maine Central "Lower Road" (main line) and Rockland Branch routes.

This is an illuminated e light box of the Maine Central logo. This is a PLA (Polylactic Acid) printed representation of the logo in 2 colors (Blue, Yellow) with a shell back containing a wall mounting hole. The lightbox includes an IR remote to turn the light box on/off and to change the color intensity from a warm 2700K to a daylight bright 6500K.

The logo is back lit with 110V LED Strip lights to illuminate the entire logo. The unit measures 8.975 length x 7.441 width x 1.575 depth
