The New Haven system was formed by the merger of two railroads that intersected in New Haven, Connecticut: the Hartford and New Haven Railroad, which began service between New Haven and Hartford in 1839 and reached Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1844, and the New York and New Haven Railroad, which opened in 1848 between its namesake cities. The New Haven was merged into Penn Central on December 31, 1968, ending rail operations by the corporation.

This is an illuminated light box of the New Haven Railroad logo. This is a PLA (Polylactic Acid) printed representation of the logo in 3 colors (Red, White, Black) with a shell back containing a wall mounting hole. The lightbox includes an IR remote to turn the light box on/off and to change the color intensity from a warm 2700K to a daylight bright 6500K.

The logo is back lit with 110V LED Strip lights to illuminate the entire logo. The unit measures 8.975 length x 7.441 width x 1.575 depthh.
